Power of Organization. The N. A. R. D. is an organization with great power for good. Moral Influence. The value that the moral influence of this organization of 25,000 members holds over the allied branches of the drug business cannot be underestimated. Prior to the N. A. R. D.s existence many a firm told Mr. Druggist that they were master and he, Mr. Druggist, must do as they bid, whether it was right or just, and rather than show fight, (legal proceedings are very expensive) the druggist took the road General Organizer. of least resistance, and thereby was bulldozed out of his just rights, which represented thousands of dollars. Thanks to organized effort, that precarious condition does not exist today. Clearing House for Information. The N. A. R. D. headquarters is a clearing house for all kinds of information pertaining to the drug store. Popularizing Standard Preparations. The N. A. R. D. is carrying on a campaign of education as to the merits of the U. S. P. and N. F. preparations, both with the physicians and pharmacists, and results far beyond our fondest hopes are being realized. What worthier cause could a professional and business man support than this movement which means the uplifting of his business and profession, and helps to make both the merchandise and prescription departments pay better.
