Mythology Student Book

Rebecca Stark

Introduce students to the fascinating subject of Anthropology. Students are presented with background information to provide a general understanding of the subjects. Mind-stimulating activities, based upon information given and outside research, encourage critical and creative thinking. These self-directed activities emphasise higher-level thinking skills and are keyed to Blooms Taxonomy. Students learn what myths are and how they help us understand the cultures in which they grew. Emphasis is on the following mythologies: Greek, Roman, Norse and Germanic, and Egyptian. Also covered are the mythologies of India, China, Japan, Africa, Polynesia and Native America.
